I grew up learning and following the traditions of Kwanzaa and was so excited to get this book and introduce Kwanzaa to my 5 yr old grand daughter. I’m very impressed by the quality and content of this guidebook. Legible font with easy to understand language, vibrant colorful pictures that really represent modern people of African descent, and applicable activities appropriate for an entire family or community. Especially excellent for teachers to use in classroom

I found, “Everyday Kwanzaa:A Children’s Guide to Applying the Principles of Kwanzaa”, a new and refreshing book about Kwanzaa. As a retired teacher I would highly recommend this book which explains each principle with a delightful story followed by an activity and a short comprehensive quiz. The illustrations
are engaging and appealing to children pre-k to 5th grade. its just a new and different concept to introduce children to Kwanzaa and how to apply the principles in everyday life.
